Habakkuk 1:9-11

New American Standard Bible

⁹ All of them come for violence.
^[a]Their horde of ^(A)faces moves forward.
They gather captives like sand.
¹⁰ They ^(B)make fun of kings,
And dignitaries are an object of laughter to them.
They ^(C)laugh at every fortress,
Then ^(D)heap up dirt and ^[b]capture it.
¹¹ Then they fly along like the ^(E)wind and pass on.
But they will be held ^(F)guilty,
They whose ^(G)strength is their god.”
